well 2 things really, 1 is just an acknowledgement that kerry is a member of chapter 322 of the thule society, aka skull n bones. Most of the top leaders of the Nazis were also a member of that society & from what I've read it's satanic in nature. It's a yale thing. You must have heard of it.
2nd part is the real point, it's about the way this event is being painted in vertain media. Brown, Kerry & others are vouching for Karzai as a "statesman". They should coordinate a little less, their talking points are too transparent to be effective.
Truth is, Karzai was denying the fraud allegations & otherwise hiding from the media since the elections. The idea that he's some kind of statesman is ridiculous really. He's the mayor of Kabul & only because there are forces stationed there protecting him from the hordes.
So Kerry goes & lends his "credibility" to Karzai. As does Brown & others. Hilary Clinton will pipe up next with how impressed she is at Karzai's actions.
It's all so contrived.

Karzai kind of sucks but he's a Pashto. Abdullah's last name is the same as his first name, and a lot of Pashtos don't trust that. It's kind of freaky, but it's all up to Eide, who is from Switzerland or Denmark or something.

Yeah I looked at Abdullah X2 a few months back. Looked like he was being groomed for the job. I'm not too sure what's going on there. It's probably a fight between different int'l factions. Karzai represents the energy sector & also has strong ties to the drug tradem so it's not surprising he has large support from the usual suspects - skull n bonesmen are no strangers to the opium trade Bush Sr was heavily involved in Iran Contra & it goes all the way back to guys like Taft.....look further back & you have the Opium Wars - with links thru to the present-day opium traders.
I've not seen much about Abdullah X2 that implicates him in such seedy activities but while you have the CIA crawling all over that area he'll do what he's told & be about as potent as Karzai I'd imagine.

It makes a lot of difference in the Panjsher. That's the heart of AfghaniJikastan. Massoud was the lion of the Panjsher. He destroyed the Soviets really hard.
