71 Year Old Foils Robbery at Jewlers
A 71-year-old have-a-go-hero thwarted a gang of sledgehammer-wielding robbers with his bare hands and snatched back £22,000 of stolen watches.
Michael Graver took on the four men in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, when he confronted them in the doorway of a jewellers.CCTV shows the pensioner was punched in the face and dodged swinging sledgehammers before grabbing the stolen goods back.[/*]The four robbers and an accomplice are to be sentenced for their crimes.[/*]

@BiffaBacon - Wrong on all counts. He's 71 years old and was therefore born after WW2 so has no experience of wartime. Also, Britain was never taken over in WW1 or WW2. Still, he was one tough old cunt.

This is the difference between Old England and Young England. Back then the Sun never set on the British Empire, Brits had a stiff upper lip and could handle anything that came their way.
