Looking at how empty his business was he should have invited them in for a free water or soft drink so it looked like he actually had a couple of customers. Bad move on the business owner because now he has to worry about them coming back and damaging his windows which will cost him money just for his deductible. Learn to pick your battles because kids skate boarding on a public sidewalk just isn't worth it in the long run.
