Man confesses to child molestation during a police job interview

PARK HILLS, Mo (KMOV.com) -- A Park Hills man was charged with
several counts of statutory sodomy after admitting to the crime during a
job interview with the Missouri State Highway Patrol last month.
Christopher Stringham, 26, of Park Hills, has been charged
with 20 counts of first-degree statutory sodomy. His bond was set at
$500,000.
According to court records, Stringham applied for a job at
the Missouri State Highway Patrol May 15. During the interview,
Stringham was asked if he had ever engaged in a sexual crime he could be
convicted of and he said yes.
Stringham told the interviewing sergeant about
inappropriately touching a child several times. He implied it was an
accident each time.
After the interview, other law enforcement agencies were contacted and an investigation was started.
