    • @fern420 This country is a SHIT LOAD better than many. And is an embarrassment compared to others.

We're not at the top of the heap anymore, nor thankfully are we at the bottom.

    • @Saros I agree, we are slowly headed in this direction. Our liberties and freedoms are slowly being stripped from us each generation. Each consecutive generation grows up in a more restrictive socialist environment and don't realize their freedoms and rights are being eroded.

    • @fern420 Ya they're organ donors now <roll eyes>. Looks to me like they brought the dude back in to talk to the official. Looks a whole lot better than being thrown out of a helicopter in Chile. Try getting a sit-down with an "official" in the US, here's your sound bite, now FO.

  • Ah China... What a piss poor replacement for the Soviets. Took them 37 years longer to get a man into space, and still can't build a decent surface to air missile, or anything for that matter, without buying or stealing the designs. It's really pathetic that we even consider them competition. No matter. In 5 years, when their wages get too high to support the cheap manufacturing which drives the whole nation, their economy will be doing exactly what their cars do... Falling to pieces. Stick to K More..

  • If here was a REAL journalist, he would have handed the camera to a bystander so we could see the beating better. What a selfish ass!

  • Now that is real journalism, what a refreshing change for LL. A journalist having the courage to stand up to a hardline repressive communist regime, showing the government of China true colors.

More reporting and posting of the corruption and repression that goes on in China, may lead to it becoming a democracy, and who knows maybe even Nth Korea.

  • I live in China and if I were Chinese, I would be some government bureaucrat somewhere who sits on his ass all day, playing computer, sending text messages, smoking cigs, doing side business on the phone and online and having a 2 1/2 hour drunken lunch and nappy time and then go home at 4:30, except on Friday when the weekend starts when the Baijiu (Chinese white liquor) pours at my afternoon lunch. Sort of a gook Ron Swanson.

Same Chang comes in and fucks up that routine? It is not so much Comm More..
