Reservoir Dogs pay row killer gets 30 years in jail
A VIETNAM veteran who murdered his boss and tried to torch three workmates in a Reservoir Dogs style slaughter was caged for 30 years yesterday.
Russell Carter, 53, took them hostage at gunpoint, demanding £3,000 wages.
He strangled Kingsley Monk, 45, bound the rest, drenched the room in petrol, lit it and fled.
The three escaped the haulage firm in Pontypool, South Wales, and Carter was nicked later.
US Army veteran Carter, of Cardiff, was convicted of murder and three attempted murders.
Judge Nicholas Cooke told Cardiff Crown Court the crimes were "acts of callous wickedness, cruelty and inhumanity".
