    Probably it was the entrance of a private property that would demand more planning to be invaded by those robbers.

    Exactly. They dont know if the home owner has a gun stashed for easy access in case of an emergency like this.

    I would guess that the inside of the secured area is manned with security, the outside isn't?

    My mother lives in a private community that requires, cards, or codes to get in. And must be used after dark to exit.
    The main thing I noticed, was how long the gate stayed open after the vehicle entered. Shit, you could drive a parade thru there.

    The vehicle hits the gate and bends the bottom as it pulls in. The damaged gate I guess was unable to function afterward or its a type of safety issue...
