  • Quoted comment by SPANKYamerican: the british, australians, canadians of the coalition almost always look more proffesional than american troops.

Can't speak for the British of Australians but for the Canadian's we have been considering professional soldiers since WW1. Because we live so close to America and our countries have had a big cooperationg with each other and in WW2 we even combined soldiers into one brigade to fight the Germans and also being a British Colony. We have had the chance to pickup on both British and American training and we picked the best aspects of it and used them and created some of our own to create our own. The Canadian Forces was voted by the United Nations as having the best training in the world and many countries send soldiers to Canada to be trained or for additional training.

Also because mostly we aren't involved in wars and mostly just peace keep. We had soldiers that had been doing nothing but training. We have longer training than America does, I think the American Military's training lasts like 2 months or something. Afterwards they are sent to whatever post they are sent to.

The CF is constantly training and offers a wide variety of advanced courses. If you search hard enough on youtube or here maybe you'd probally find some videos of those courses of soldiers who can reload in under a second and takes a couple of prefect shots and repeat those steps in the same ammount of time. Truely amazing videos.
