The archbishop has no sense of right and wrong. How did he rise so high within the hierarchy of his church? Does the Anglican Church stand for anything?
Pat might be a wiseguy, but at least he takes a stand. I hope he's able to post his prison address after the thought police are done with him so I can sent him biscuits and tea during his incarceration. Brave man. I hope his passport is in order.
"Six people were later arrested and charged with offences including soliciting to murder, inciting racial hatred, disorderly behaviour and organising a procession without notifying police."
Your generalisations are becoming nauseous. You do not seem to ask the important questions about any possible framework of sharia that may be adopted (e.g. will it overule British law? - unlikely, does it involve the consent of both parties - probably). There is already the Jewish court in London - the Beth Din, that has been operating for years.

There are possibilities for religion to be successfully integrated into secular society providing that adult consent to such things is always given. I think you should have thought more about this before posting.
I agree with most of what he said. I just wish he actually said it off the top of his head, and then actually responded to comments. It's like a drive by.

Agreed. That lack of engagment in the comments section means that he escapes the very spotlight of questioning and criticism that he so eloquently shines on religious people.
In otherwords, if you are already an athiest (like me) then Pats videos are in fact all the same (though some are very, very amusing). I'm not sure I have anything left to learn from him that I have'nt learnt already - other than a few of his random facts from a variety of religious scriptures (which makes no difference to me whether or not he truthfully quoted them anyway).
Oh great, another featured presentation from the clueless atheist, who simply does not understand human nature & the power of faith.
Faith will always overpower the faithless.
Don't blame rowan williams either.. blame gordon brown's influential, atheist, liberal, think tank.
They are the ones who called for "multiculturalism" and said christianity is passe in britain.
You have your own atheist, humanist, selves to blame for this.
American christians would never let this happen without a fight.
Former Great Britain, it seems, has gone out with a whimper.
Please strike the cross from your flag ..
you are dead to a savior who loved you
.. and replace that cross of forgiveness with a rogue star & ominous crescent moon.
Pat-"middle-class bed wetters..." Classic! One thing though; do you realize your firm, even strident stand, could lead to conflict? What are YOU willing to give up to defend your secular nation? Or are you also just a middle class bed wetter?

We are ALEADY in conflict with Islamists. Most western simply bury their heads whilst they get 'bum' rushed by the Islamists.
Then people must fight. But understand what you are talking about. This aint no video game. I suggest you pick up Churchill's volumes on the Second World War. Read the end of the first volume... about having to sacrifice entire divisions (10,000 to 18,000 men) for a few hours of breathing space. Is inflexibility worth it? Are we at the point of conflict yet? Or should we try flexibility?

WELL SAID AS ALWAYS PAT

Pat, I am a secular athiest and normally your posts are funny and intelligent. But this sounds like a rant from a Daily Mail reader.
Muslims who clearly protest and spread hate are arrested and prosecuted.
