Yes, "what's in it for me?" is definitely the motto of the dems. Not the repubs, nope. Nothing altruistic about a living wage, a solid education for all, a base level of health care for all, a pollution-free environment.... that's all totally selfish stuff, as is the fact that we're willing to pay higher taxes to make these things a reality.
