"What did Attorney General Eric Holder know and when did he know it---in reference to "Operation Fast and Furious?"

On Wednesday, thanks to the contradictory testimony of four ATF Agents, the COVER-UP has been exposed for exactly what it is---a cover-up!

We believe that an independent Special Prosecutor should be appointed by Congress!

Operation Fast and Furious was the ATF's botched gun trafficking investigation in Arizona that allowed more than 2,000 guns to be moved into a criminal pipeline leading straight to Mexico. Wednesday's stunning revelations under oath by ATF agents before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform suggest there were willful violations of ATF policy and procedures that were allegedly ordered by supervisors in Phoenix with the knowledge of the agency hierarchy in Washington, D.C. We MUST appoint a Special Prosecutor to get to the real TRUTH!

Everybody who was involved in this debacle must be held accountable. That can only happen if there is an independent Special Prosecutor, someone who cannot be influenced by the Justice Department. Yet the stone-walling by this administration continues!

You see, the devious Obama administration is using this criminal use of illegal weapons for their own ANTI-GUN AGENDA of trying to rid the United States of guns. Even though this administration caused this immediate ATF problem - they will use this scenario against our citizen's right to bear arms. With an anti-gun strategy, Barack Obama will try to use this to BAN guns and gun shows.

NO WONDER THEY ARE STONEWALLING; if the blame will be placed on the administration instead of patriotic gun owners!

The agents testified that Assistant U.S. Attorney Emory Hurley, a Phoenix-based appointee of Barack Obama, "orchestrated" Operation Fast and Furious. ATF Phoenix field office supervisor Peter Forcelli, for example, told the U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa committee: "I have read documents that indicate that his boss, U.S. Attorney Dennis Burke, also agreed with the direction of the case."

That direction was established sometime after Mr. Obama was inaugurated in 2009 when Phoenix ATF agents, breaking with long-established agency practice, were ordered to monitor, but not STOP, gun sales to suspected gun traffickers.

Obviously, instead of trying to stop the flow of weapons from the United States to Mexican drug cartels, the administration allowed it to happen. "This shift in strategy was known and authorized at the highest levels of the Justice Department," says a report by congressional staffers.

"Through both the U.S. Attorney's Office in Arizona and 'Main Justice' headquarters in Washington, D.C., the Department closely monitored and supervised the activities of the ATF," the report states.

Four ATF agents in transcribed interview with top GOP oversight official Darrell Issa's office are CONTRADICTING the Justice Department's account of "Operation Fast and Furious," saying that HUNDREDS OF WEAPONS - including assault rifles and military-grade sniper weapons - which fell into the hands of Mexican drug cartels in an apparently reckless investigative strategy.

BOTH Representative Darrell Issa and U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley have been working for months to get to the bottom of this fiasco.

Yet, the Department of Justice continues to STONEWALL them!

So the tensions ran pretty high this past Wednesday during the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing!

Ronald Weich, the assistant attorney general for legislative affairs at the Justice Department, told the Committee the he does not know who authorized the Justice Department's "Operation Fast and Furious."

The goal of the controversial "Project Gunrunner" and "Operation Fast and Furious" programs was to use serial numbers on weapons sold to "straw purchasers," who planned to resell the guns to the drug cartels, to trace the weapons after Mexican police apprehended them later at crime scenes.

Every step of the way, the ATF has tried to "cover their tracks." But now, they have finally been exposed. That's why we must seek an independent special prosecutor to find out what really went wrong and why!

U. S. Senator Grassley comment sent chills up and down the spines of those who listened. He said: "(This report) It tells me, when they are stonewalling, that people too high up knew about it and they don't want to take responsibility for their actions."

Did he mean Attorney General Eric Holder?

Or did he mean Barack Obama?

It does not add up. This is the most anti-gun administration in the course of recent history. Not only are they stonewalling an ongoing investigation, but they do not portray the crime-free, gun-owner evidence that needs to be apparent---even though four ATF agents disagree, as they tell the genuine TRUTH - in spite of their bosses!
