May have lost nine; but, I really don't think that was in the green zone....a realatively safe place... they do, after all, fight....
This is not Bagdad.
This "green zone" is an area between Geresk and Sangin in Helmand. One of the most fertile parts of Helmand along Helmand river.
You can't use vehicles because of the terrain so every patrol is on foot. Perfect place for ambushes. UK has also lost many soldiers in this "jungle".
