@pooterscooter I see no reason for them not to have lived. The car did exactly what it was designed to do in a crash. The engine compartment absorbed the impact and broke off keeping the cab intact. Usually though, the engine just gets stuck under the car.

the ability to buy
does not grant the ability to drive
and all the save your ass technology that they place in these things today make this more and more likely. I miss the days when traction control meant drivers ass feeling the suspension and drive making changes; not the car or super computer getting a beam from a satellite.
When will they drop the save your ass systems?

I am not sure its the "fast car"
It has to do with the sales pitch that the car will "Save You" or act like Jesus when you make a bad choice.
I think these new car owners need to master a datsun 510 before sitting in as little as a Lotus, but then again; a lotus is all these guys need.
Lets also add to how "standard" these cars are now on the streets. It used to be an amazing thing to see one, now they are all over. Its got the same shocks as a cor More..
