Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore(AKA Fat Bastard) is throwing his support behind the angst-ridden Day of Rage protesters. Moore, who headed down to Wall Street on Monday evening to speak to a few hundred participants, claims that the protests are going to “grow pretty fast.”
In speaking to the individuals who continue to camp out against “corruption,” Moore said, ”It warms my heart to see all of you here.” He continued:
“These people on Wall Street ripped off the future of many of these young people here and their not-yet-born children. It was the greatest heist, certainly of my lifetime. This protest has to start somewhere, and it might as well have started here.”
In an effort to rally the crowd, while helping it find an inherent legitimacy to its antics, Suite101.com reports that Moore told the group, ”One-hundred years from now people will remember that you came down to this plaza and started this movement.”
