China won't to be allied with anyone until a real common enemy shows up. At that time the USSR was the biggest threat to both China and the US.

The reform and the end of Mao's ideology made the change in uniforms, but now leftist and Maoists in China still like to wear such uniforms in thier political gatherings. I noticed radicals in your country wear this, too.

  • When we consider the US government has a modern navy because of trillions of dollars (yuan) that the Chinese have loaned us, the Chinese seem more like bankers looking to see where their investments have been spent. And if the US fails to make interest installments, the Chinese will be justified in taking collateral - like aircraft carriers, national parks and offshore oil deposits.
