Sorry shooting guns out in the countryside doesnt make you a terrorist. We train embedded reporters with weapons etc. Plus Im sure if the Syrian govt. knew he was a reporter theyd kill him anyway so he probably wants to be able to defend himself in that event.

@trichome1 A reporter usually doesn't carry a gun into a combat zone (like the one in the video does). I can excuse him having fun out in the countryside, but this guy clearly is sympathetic with the opposition in more than just words. Reporters accompanying insurgents/Taliban in the past never toted weapons, but what makes this guy so special that he has to "defend himself"?
