gotta say, that the landing at around 4:10 or something is pretty weird... The missile dropped off...

Those take offs and landings are so amazing in real life.
I have seen thousands from working up there for years.
Especially so during the storms at night it is amazing that the guys can get those planes down intact.
I got to ride passenger on six launches and landings.
Man were those bad ass.

I carqualed in March 1966 in a T-28C..open cockpit, radial engine,etc. The boat really did look like a postage stamp from few miles out....its OK..you train, and it works.. I made over 2000 shipboard landings before I retired from active flying..and yes, some are really ball busters..but, for the most part, you are trained and experiencd and it works.
