  • i think South Sudan withdrew under U.N pressure, what will be interesting is when the black areas of North Sudan start rebelling on a large scale against their arab masters, it's happening already in many areas

  • Wasnt it that one side wanted to go Christian and the other Muslim and an Oil rig in the middle?.......Well,,,If Muslims are involved the fighting is going to go on for some time....

    • @Blackwolfhunting
The north hired janjaweed mercenaries to burn villages of 'rebelious' africans wanting to break away.
I wonder when the north recalls the camel jockeys to do thier fighting again.

the south already won that one, most of the oil is located there, this area heglig is in the South Kordofan, which lies on the border and is disputed territory, there is a rebellion there by Black Africans against the arab muslim n-sudanese govt

  • State propaganda to make up for the embarrassment caused by losing Heglig in the first place...you don't lose the center of your country's oil production without some incompetence on the part of your army.

  • Suppose winner in Syria will play the winner there in Sudan?

  • Is this really any surprise? When they were still one country they fought. Now that they're split, of course there's still not going to be peace.

Nothing anyone does will EVER bring peace to many parts of Africa. It will forever be in conflict because blacks can't settle anything with words and discussion. Only with bullets and guns. That continent has alot of potential, but the people inhabiting it makes that region hopeless.

the north is ruled by arab muslims, the blacks in the south fought them for 50 years to escape their tyranny, it's not simply an africa thing, it's a islam thing

  • Right now the war is divided along religious lines with Muslim North Sudan against Muslim/Christian/Indigenous South Sudan.

However, as more black Northern Sudanese begin to realise that their Arab leaders treat their black countrymen as little more than dirt, expect things to change rapidly.

not true, many American Christians support and have supported for many years Southern Sudan, it's what forced Bashir to sign a agreement allowing for political independence, most of the South is composed of Black christians, the North by arab muslims, it's a fault line of Jihad
