The song is 'unfortunately' - Dystyhos (Δυστυχώς) by Peggy Zina (Πέγκυ Ζήνα).
Constantinople (Κωνσταντινούπολις), the city of Roman Emperor Constantine, was established to be a Christian city. It was a town of Ancient Greeks living in Thrace before that, called Byzantion.
The Turks have really no place or connection to this city. Not only were they never Christians, or part of Byzantium, but the triple walls erected around the city were meant to keep their race out, invaders like Attila.
The Turkish 'istanbul' (which is not a turkish word but a Greek compound name 'eis thn poli' which means 'to the city'. This Turkish city is overcrowded, and its main tourist attractions are harems and belly dancers. The Turkish Istanbul should be a different city, and compared to the other cities of Islam such as Cairo, Baghdad, Qurtuba, Agra and Isfahan, then Istanbul doesn't strike us a great accomplished city. Yet, Constantinople was the great city of all Christendom and of all Europe.
The dance in this video is Hasapiko (χασάπικο ), the butcher's dance. It is a Byzantine dance of Constantinople, and it used to be called makellarikos horos (μακελλάρικος χορός). It is the tango of Greece, full of elegance and refinement. It is very popular in weddings especially.
*Not my Video but I agree with it.*
