The Global Warming Fiasco Continues. (AKA: Stories not found on CNN)

I have always said Global Warming long ago left the realm of true science, and has become a quasi-religion. You just have to have faith. It did not matter the facts, and you were not allowed to bring up opposing views. (your carreer would suffer)
Well Surprise Surprise,
In todays news, two more stories that back that up. On top of the long list of embarrassing global warming stores comes two more today. You will not find these on CNN or MSNBC. But I found them.

  • Actually, the whole "blowing a hole in global warming" story was twisted and biased. Something like the article actually said that were not warming the planet as much as we thought. Here's another side of the story. I'm not saying I'm for or against global warming, but people are really taking the whole "global warming is bullshit" thing too far.

      Every single other doomsday hysteria before global warming was bullshit, this one is just more of the same. It's hardly even talked about anymore, and that's how all of these the-sky-is-falling scenarios end, every one of them, people just stop talking about them.

      It's possible that someday a doomsday claim will be made that isn't B.S. but because of all the B.S. that came before it won't be believed.
      Heck, even global warming may be it.
      I certainly have my very strong doubts but can't be sure.
      Once something becomes political the truth is the first thing to hit the floor in full arrest.
      I don't believe anybody anymore.

  • I've been in this global warming game since 1980 and have a reasonable set of credentials.

    First, global warming is a fact since the little ice-age. What's not a fact is human caused global warming. Just some theories that don't match reality all that well.

    Second, Roy Spencer is an expert on satellite microwave temperature sensing. He's the guy who announces each month how 'hot' the earth is. So if you hear 'last year was the hottest on record' He will have said that. He's also an 'Anthropoge More..

      Also, pointing out he is a creationist is an ad-hom that has zero relevance to the science.

  • GW is one of the biggest hoaxes to hit American politics. It is very narcicistic to think, even if the earth is warming a little bit, that mankind had anything to do with it. After all, what happened to warm the planet after the last ice age? And to think, as recently as the 70's we were told that the earth is cooling. GMAFB. Liberalism at it's finest.
