This is from my research on the video. Apparently what the safari tourists in this video are doing is arrogant, thoughtless and against many "unspoken" rules of etiquette when on African game reserves. They are allowing the elephants to become so comfortable with humans that the elephants become dangerous pests and have to be euthanized. This is because the elephants begin barging into every tourist camp and this causes unhappy tourists. Unhappy tourists don't return which means non revenue making safari tours. Add it all together and the outcome is dead elephants. What they should have done is gotten in there vehicles and left and notified the rangers. In this instance the a ranger and two guides observed the situation and chased the elephant out with their park vehicles.

The real scary part is not so much how comfortable the elephants are with them but how totally oblivious these folks are to the elephant.
