While watching a video for my mass communications class religion, gender and sex in the media a man complaining about Arab stereotypes complained that women in Arab countries are shown as oppressed and dressed in black robes. He called it the black blanket method of Islamic stereotyping.
In all of the scenes he criticized like in Indian Jones they all took place in Islamic nations where this is actually practiced. Pretty funny if you ask me.
