@WagePeace He is not in the U.S., also she is not in the U.S. He won't be punished as if he was in the U.S. and she SHOULDN'T walk like that randomly (even though there is a crosswalk) into a street. She should have known that she is in Russia. He was speeding, but she could look right there to prevent being hit. It was not an incredible accident, both sides would prevent it from happening, he didn't, nor did she.

@dorbie if its a two lane, you have to make sure Both Lanes are safe to cross! No Rocket Science here! The guy might be an idiot speeding by the crosswalk but you as a pedestrian still got to make sure it's safe to cross.

@zuluking It's never the pedestrians fault. The courts will always find in favor of the pedestrian. That goes double when the pedestrian is crossing at a crosswalk. Not stopping at a crosswalk when a pedestrian is crossing is the equivilent of burning a red light.
