Authorities have released video of a former detention center officer picking up a female inmate and slamming her to the ground. The Charleston County Sheriff's Office says Officer Jonathan Lewis was fired on Friday for "violation of Detention Center Policy."
Investigators say that on Feb. 27, the sheriff's office requested the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division to investigate a use of force incident involving a detention officer andan inmate.
A sheriff's office report states that the incident happened on Feb. 25 in the booking area of the Al Cannon Detention Center. After a review of the incident, the sheriff's office requested that SLED conduct an investigation, which is continuing, to determine if criminal charges are warranted against Lewis. Lewis was placed on administrative leave and then terminated on Friday. Lewis has been with the detention center since May 2007.

I spent 3 months for introducing a friend to a guy who sells marijuana, trust me I know how that shit works. I could write a book on all of the crap that happens in there and how the guards are worse than most of the inmates... Hell I wanted to do something useful while there so I made really nice carvings of tanks and fighter jets out of soap bars and the guards took them callin More..
