Yea, this specific case, it would be pointless. But if you are in a true fight, and you knock dude down, do you think he is going to stay down (considering he isn't knocked out)? Most likely not, and considering you don't want to kill or make the guy retarded, the other best way is to give him a few boots while he is down, so he either can't get up, or you kick each time he TRIES, maybe he will just stay down then......And I'm not talking about in the head/face area either.....ri More..

But a legal question - if you saw someone kicking a downed person in the head, and you were walking by after baseball practice - would you face much legal jeopardy if you stopped the guy using your bat?
