While working on a fryer in a Chinese restaurant kitchen, I had an opportunity to whip out the old iPhone camera. Although this is a particularly foul example, most Chinese restaurant kitchens aren't too dissimilar.Might just eat in instead...

@NSAID2 That kitchen looks sparkling clean compared to Kitchens in China. In this one you can actually see the white of the tiles. Come to real China if you want to see kitchens so dirty the walls are coated in an inch of solid black sticky slime.

@FreeMind1 Yep, my friends mother got seriously ill from eating at a restaurant a few months back. The illness she got was one normally associated with fecal matter. Gross. Not to mention a chinese food place (run by white people) in my town brought me the wrong food, but I didnt notice at first so I started eating it. I noticed almost as soon as I did, but rather than throw away the dish the waitress seen me eating off, she brought it straight out to the patron in the bar who ordered it.

Some people, including ALL Cambodians - should not handle food. Worked next to a Cambodian bakery once, and one night water started coming into the shop through the wall into the carpet, bakery was closed of course, landlord was in Hawaii or wherever, so the fire department had to come out and break the door down. That's clean compared to the Mainland.
There is one restaurant that I used to like going to, my friends and I ate there lots of times, and once I took my wife there. But the kitchen was so horrid that an American health inspector would have fainted into his own vomit if he saw it. I have seen other kitchens which are just about as bad. Not to mention the usually disgusting bathroom with a hole for a toilet.
Chinese are a study of complete opposites, they are very hard working...yet completely More..

@FellowChap There's a chinese restaurant close to my house, I pass behind the building with my car and they tend to have the back door open, this is how it looks inside. I discovered that 3 years ago and never went to a chinese place again.
