A member of one of the largest and most dangerous Asian gangs in the country in now behind bars thanks to the persistence of one local resident and local law enforcement. 27 year-old Daniel "Steamer" Keo Kung a known member of the Tiny Rascals Gang was featured on America’s Most Wanted (AMW) as a fugitive wanted for murder since 2004. Now authorities are discovering that this “Most Wanted” fugitive has been living in the Kings Mountain area for some time.

According to information uncovered by TV33 a local resident called Kings Mountain police informing them that the AMW fugitive was living just blocks from the city’s Police Department. So armed with a photo of Kung, Kings Mountain Police and State Troopers knocked on the door of 112 North Cansler Street, met Kung at the door and showed him the photo.

Kung was arrested without incident and arraigned this morning in Cleveland County District Court. According to our information AMW camera crews were also on hand today and are expected to return to the city for an update story.
