HALO (High Altitude Low Opening) Skydive from 30k
If you're going to jump, you might as well jump high. Here is a nice video of a HALO (High Altitude Low Opening) jump over Memphis Tennessee back in 2011 with Charlie Urban and Charlie Bonner. This has been a dream of mine for a long time. So far my highest jump has been from 22,000ft (18,000ft AGL) but one day I would love to take part in a HALO of more than 25,000ft AGL. Jam to the Doors on the way down, enjoy ;)

That free fall lasted ages! Looks like those guys had radio communication as well, very cool. I've never jumped from that height but it sure seems like it would be fun to try.

@Unpossible -Usually you don't realize how cold you are until you get under canopy, then you can't feel your fingers ;)

@Unpossible Yes, at 30X feet it is usually -30 degrees. Plus you are traveling at your individual velocity. At first you will have adrenaline flowing and may not notice too much, but you will. That is cold,

Anyone here done similar? Wouldn't the bare skin be REALLY REALLY sensitive to the cold?

@teccec -I'm sure it gets a bit nippy up there. I've jumped in Colorado from 16,500 in the winter and you really struggle to feel your fingers by the time you get to the ground. Thermal gloves and a full face helmet helps a lot.

@teccec At 30Grand it can get down to -30. Then his speed against the guy with the shown neck would be at least burned exposed like that.
