The knife on knife action isn't going to be very common. Bare hand vs knife should be the focus in my opinion.

Skillz, but in real life it rarely ever works like this. In my opinion, it is usually the first one to strike that wins, or the most brutal tactics, throat strikes etc...

@highlogic And thats exactly what we see when we see footage of it... walk up.. shank, shank, shank, shank, shank.... walk away. And there's always only one person holding a knife.
That *is* the way of the knife, that's what's its used for. Anything else IMO is just amateur dramatics.

good point, did you see the south american prison knife fight that was posted about 3 years ago .. it was a no nonsense fight .. it would be really cool if someone could post a link to it

@FTE I knew a Filipino who knew a two knife fighting technique. It was devastating. Two small knives in his hands like he was a boxer. He could cut you to shreds in about 2 seconds. He was an instructor on base at Bragg and would cut up "bad asses" with Magic markers before they could even think about it.
There was a system to his fighting. He would take our your muscles and tendons in your arms before you took out your carotid arteries. Very very quick.
