Amazing Stories originally aired from 1985 to 1987 with a few episodes airing in 1997. It has been erratically broadcast over the years and has also been made into movie anthologies consisting of three episodes put together and billed as a movie in some countries.

The name Amazing Stories comes from a popular sci-fi pulp mag from the 40's and 50's. While there are many aspects of this show I enjoy, the multitude of up and coming actors for instance, there are aspects of the shows production that I find troubling. But that's a long conversation.

Season 1 on DVD was released in the US but as of writing this season 2 hasn't been.
