Either the SAA are very sure of themselves, or their infantry just don't want to dismount and support their armour. Seems like bad tactics in FIBUA.

@jeepee71 T-72. The SAA has (had, a ton have been blown up) ~1,700 T-72. Most of them are export monkey models with downgraded equipment (inferior IR, gun stabilizers, no laser range finders, worse armor, etc). They do have some T-72AV, which is a T-72A model with ERA. These are in service with the Republican Guard and they are NOT export models, they are legit T-72s made for the Soviet Army. They only seem to have a few and they have been in service in Daraya with the RG.
