  • LOL.....who is this clown wannabe reporter? Using RT as a source of information is a joke.

    • @Armed24-7 RT is now much more reliable than Fox for foreign news. Jazeera was once good but is now pushing the US official line.

I've noticed that about Al Jazeera too! They only show the bad stuff that Assad does, like killing babies with rockets or reducing an entire city to rubble. When will they show the GOOD stuff he's done?! They're so biased!

[This is sarcasm, and I hate you.]

  • What the hell is this ideological clusterfuck? Maoist rebels news?

Does he ever quote his sources?
(the Syrian Authority and RT are not reliable sources any more than the FSA are).

Kick this fat ingrate out of your country.

  • OK, the US is NOT behind the uprising you dolt. We've sent no arms, and provided no training, you backwards people love making shit up, it's clearly backed by Dubai, they even admitted to it on 60 minutes this weekend.

    • @MisoSoup

They are backed financially by Qatar and Saudi Arabia and not Dubai. To think that the United States is not supporting this uprising is stupid. American assistance can be with training or relaying on a third party to deliver arms to the thugs much like when the Americans supported the mujahideens against the Soviets. Your secretary of State kept repeating the phrase "Assads days are numbered". Their are many countries involved in this "uprising" and your country i More..

Nato bombed every Libyan position to give the rebels an advantage. All the rebels had to do is go there and clean up.

  • This is from that new Russian news propaganda site "RT".
You can't believe anything you see from these people.
I think Vladimar Putin is behind it.

    • @robocorv

You are correct. Vladamir Putin did in fact have a hand in the development of RT. Wikipedia is apparently edited and not correct.

RT was started by state-owned companies and Vladimir Putin was the driving force behind it. It was originally meant as a propaganda tool to be used to improve the world's opinions of Russia. As you can see, it used for much more than that.

    • @robocorv So you believe what you see on Fox and CNN? They all have government agents in them. That is why they rattle off the government line every time concerning foreign policies and wars.

Hell, I ran across some details about its budget a few years back, and it enjoys a steady flow of cash from...wait for it... THE KREMLIN!

Yup.....that's why I laugh when people use RT News as a source when posting anti-USA stuff on here.

  • Maoist Rebel News? Wasn't Mao responsible for millions of deaths? This guy is big on talking about people's self-determination. How does he feel about people's self determination in Tibet, Nepal, Taiwan, Hong Kong, etc. I do admit we have no business messing with Syria. And we all know how the Taliban, al-Queda etc feel about self determination in other parts of the region.

    • @Daivodabest One thing that could be said about the regime was that sectarian fighting was not allowed. For the most part folks at least tolerated each other. Not so sure it will stay like that when Assad gets booted. I don't see him making it through this.

    • @Daivodabest Let them sort it out themselves, if anyone wants to go in let it be the Arab league. Then no one can blame us for anything but letting them slaughter each other.

    • @Daivodabest Maybe. I'm pretty sure it's going to be an even uglier mess if he goes.
