In the United States of "whatever" your right to free speech can be terminated if you piss off a cop apparently.

Reporters outside Mt Sinai Hospital in Chicago were arrested as they attempted to cover the tragic story of a 6 year old's murder.

NBC Chicago explains
"Our members were attempting to protect and respect both the grieving
family members of the child, and the memory of the child herself during a
very stressful time for all parties involved, as always, we will carefully review the allegations in the event further action is warranted."

In the video it appears that reporters complied with police requests to move off the public sidewalk immediately outside the hospital onto the median strip. One officer was still annoyed by their presence and insisted they must move further away. Claiming that their presence was "creating a scene". Though IMO the only scene being created was by that combative officer trying to stop reporters from doing their job.

Keep in mind that there are indeed restrictions on free speech, though the right doesn't "terminate", but to my knowledge none of those restrictions on free speech seems to apply here.

Came across this video in my daily random torrent search, from a quick check on news feeds it appears very recent. Posted under fair use for purposes of criticism and comment.
