Boy made honorary Marine before death
Members of the Marines decided to step in and do something.
"They decided Cody, with the strength and honor and courage he showed through the whole thing, he should be a Marine," said Cody's father David Snowberger.
Cody was given Marine navigator wings and was made an honorary member of the United States Marine Corps. For one Marine, that wasn't enough, so he did even more.
"The night before Cody passed, he stood guard at Cody's door at the hospital all night long for eight hours straight," said Snowberger.

i am crying so hard , and hope i dont have to see this in my life , , rip little hero , as all kids that go thru this are in my book , its more thani could handell watching my baby girl take the poison , but one to save her life , but at night i would hear the iv drip , and think iam i doing the right thing . well shes in remission , and pray everyday she will out live me , proud parent of a cancer survivor and bless the marines , they are truly the best
