Time lapse video taken from La Canada Flintridge on Friday, August 28/09. Watch as the fire heads down-slope, eventually consuming the entire hillside. This is 30 fps, a frame taken every 2 seconds. So one hour becomes one minute.
*Also attached is a time-lapse nighttime video of the fires.Details for nighttime video:This is a time-lapse of the Station Fire burning near the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. At the time of this timelapse, the fire was completely out of control. This was taken from the Devil's Gate Dam in La Cañada Flintridge, CA at approximately midnight. Each frame is a six second exposure. The time-lapse covers approximately 11 minutes. The time-lapse is looped 3 times since it is so short.
