Allen West explains firearms mandate comments

Rep. Allen West calls the Obamacare mandate ruling a "dangerous precedent" that will allow the government to use penalty tax to force behavior modification. He recently suggested a firearms mandate would be no different than the health insurance mandate.

  • I would love to hear the left explain what now limits the government from making us buy the next arbitrary thing out there.

    We can no longer say, "Its not the the place of the government" or "The government has no right"
    With this, the government can do damn well what it pleases.

    Even when majority of Americans don't want it.

  • A lot of people don't understand the precedent this ruling sets: the US government can now tax you for not doing what they want, constitutionally.

    Something needs to be done, or the USA is going to go down the shitter. And I'm not being hyperbolic. Seriously.

  • i didnt hear an "uh" or "um" in his interview. You can tell hes speaking from the heart and he was also prepared.

    Now, if osama obama went up there, hes um and uh you to death AND be unprepared and have a telepromter.

    Let’s just look at a couple of things that have happened here recently.

    Health care tax giving the government the authority to force you to purchase something anything you may or may not want, and have complete access to your medical history as part of their day to day business. This is an incredible amount of authority and unprecedented access.
