Syria - FSA fires heavy rocket towards Aleppo
Part of channel(s): Syria (current event)

Some said after the bombing of the Aleppo university the FSA has no rockets and uses just mortars and some selfmade stuff.
This rocket is not selfmade and it looks really bad to me (amateur).
Interesting was also that this group made some vids about this action and the launch but the impact was not shown at all.
Why not? Didn't they hit? What did they hit instead?
There was even another vid how they celebrated the unloading of this weapon from a truck...

It was said in the title that they attacked a "police school in Aleppo" - in the map i found a military academy about 2,5 km from the university away.....
Also i cannot see any Syrian flags on the target-building shown about 6:48 and i don't understand Arabic so i cannot translate what is written on it..
What's about the accurancy if you launch it like they did? What happens if you take the wrong angle? What is the speed?

  • There is countless videos of these radical islamist resting rockets on rocks and firing, and they have no control at all over where it's going besides the general direction.

    Both sides kill civilians nonstop.
Both sides have the ability to cause the damage.
Both sides have committed countless war crimes.

It very well could have been a bomb from a syrian plane, it could have been a rocket the islamist had launched. I have a feeling even if someone could prove what happened, no one would face More..

What rubbish. There is not one single video showing an air attack or even a recording of jet engines.

Western Intelligence says that the terrorists have captured rockets big enough to cause the damage and they attacked the University as a terror attack because they were losing on a number of battlefields.

you can't explain it to that dune coon, I've tried. He is like the rest of them, he gets an idea or thought someone told him and he simply repeats it until he is chanting incessantly. No wonder muslims ban books, there aren't many with original thought capabilities.

  • Markan obiously you have no idea of some types of rockets....the rocket used in the vids is a russian made Anti-Tank rocket AT-3 Sagger....nor is it very big neither it has enough power to blow a whole university-building.....according to the blast we can see in the new vid that emerged and shows the impact at the uni..we can assume that only the SAA owns such ordnance....

  • "Heavy rocket towards Aleppo"? *lol* :)
The 9K11 Malyutka is an AT rocket with a range of 3000 meters maximum:
    AT-3_Sagger
The rocket that hit the university of Aleppo must have been a SCUD or even larger.

    • @globetrotter79

Not SCUD, a bit smaller. The terrorists have captured enough surface-surface missiles to do the job easily.

    • @DEADBEEF if they really have captured that type of ordnance why theres not a single propaganda-vid showing rebels firing such stuff?

    • @SyrianPropagandaMinister

No videos? Probably because they are still playing the 'innocent barely armed rebel' card.

There were certainly no videos whatsoever of aircraft firing missiles at the University - despite hundreds of cameras in operation. And for certain there are no air-launched missiles in the Syrian inventory that could do that amount of damage.

Finally, if there was even the slightest hint it was a Government strike the Western Governments and Media would be trumpeting that to More..

  • they apparently have some homemade rocket factories, this very well could be one of those. I would call it a giant bottle-rocket because it's not accurate, kinda like a small scud they believe allah will guide.

  • SAA's University missile must have had a much bigger warhead than this boy-toys... much more damage there

  • This is the AT-3 - scourge of the Israelis in 1973. It was so good the Israelis went on to nuclear strike alert when they thought they might lose.
