Raw video,March 24/08...An idiot decides to steal a car in front of a news crew filming an officer outside of Gilbert police Dept in Arizona:

GILBERT - A car was stolen right in front of police.

3TV was there as a guy takes off with a car right in front of the Gilbert Police Department. Officers quickly took off after the suspect. Police tried to relay what was going on across their radios.


Police even talked about the suspect making some dangerous moves just a few miles down the road. The chase was called off a short time later.

Officers did catch up with the guy who is now facing some very serious charges.
