    • @MisoSoup So were many jets of that age, it was a time of experiment and extending boundaries.

    • @CargeLock most of the jets of the day were small fighters, the comet was the first commercial airliner, it was also made with inferior metals, causing it to fail due to fatigue very easily. The mistake was repaired in later planes, but you won't see a comet in the air ever again.

    • @MisoSoup What is it you're trying to achieve? Do you require some kind of pissing match about which aircraft were "death traps" and so forth and then get into whose country is better etc etc? I don't see what you're getting at.

    • @CargeLock the video touted the comet as some kind of miracle aircraft, yes it was the fist, but it WAS a massive failure that resulted in many deaths, yes we had to find out the hard way, and I don't care about what country etc etc, but if you're going to state facts, STATE THEM ALL.
