Too bad this run was on a test night and not an actual race or qualifying because this would have been a world record folks. Antron Brown in florida Feb 5 2011. Fastest time of the night was Brown 3.77 at 324mph. Tony Scumacher went 3.77 at 311mph. Capps, force, pedregon, height, bernstein all were here. Palm beach international raceway.

  • If you have never been to an NHRA or IHRA event, you must go. Video does not do it justice. I go to Epping, NH every other year. I bring friends who laugh it up, but once they are there they talk about it all year long.

      I have a friend who goes to the Mile High nationals here in Colorado every year, and raves. I think I need to go next time around.

    • @mattuconn lol took the old lady one year to the spring nationals.she jumped about 6 inches when john force burned out.then wide open off the line she jumped about a foot high.blurrs your vision.

    • @Kmanbay. Do yourself a favour and GO. As mattuconn said the vision doesn't do it justice. When the TF'S & FC'S roar down the track, it's something like you've never heard or felt in your life!! It's a big buzz.

    • @mattuconn Yeah I live near Heartland Park in Topeka and love watching the top fuel cars. You simply can't comprehend the noise and thunder they produce. Videos don't do it justice even if you have a killer sound system cranked all the way up.

      I remember how most of the car alarms were going off in the parking lot 1/4 mile away.

  • If you have never seen top fuel before it is insane. It rumbles your chest and the nitro burns your eyes. It' so sweet.

  • I also recommend going to an NHRA event! I go every year to Infineon Raceway for the Fram Autolite Nationals. It's a sight to behold when 16,000 horsepower blasts down the track like that.
