M&M Waste Processing Plant Causes Colored Bee Honey
Since August, beekeepers around the town of Ribeauville in the region of Alsace have seen bees returning to their hives carrying unidentified colorful substances that have turned their honey unnatural shades - and they think it's because an M&M’s are being manufactured nearby.

There’s a Mars plant about 60 miles away, but even closer is the biogas plant which has been handling the candy waste.

The brown is from bees that went to the sewage processing plant.

@StormRising If the bees wanted it there must be sugar mixed with the dyes. I believe candy waste is malformed or discolored candy.

@khamomil bees will eat rather bland stuff, we are just lucky most of it usually tastes good to us.

Retards. You would have no problem selling that honey at more than market prices. Stop whining and use your brains.

@livewire242 French law probably would not allow contaminants in pure foods like honey and can't be sold.
