Iceland Presidents wife joins protesters in as the President is pelted with eggs

The first lady walks to the proetsters and joins them without any sequrity
As ususal , first they ( members of Parliement ) walk over to the church and then back to the parliement building.
Now
there where a few thousand protesters ,protesting the goverment , and
the lack of what they should be doing for the public in Iceland .
Eggs where thrown at them ,and one member of parliement got an egg in his head.
Then
the First lady ,wife of the President,mr. Olafur Ragnar grimsson,
Dorrit Moussaieff,went over the sequrity fence and joined the protesters
and showed her support.

@marc1921 Icelands a weird situation. That was a fairly large crowd of normal looking people. You go ignoring those people, and you end up with what we have. A government that is completely decoupled from the people.

yea good on iceland they refused to bend over 4 the banks this fact is ignored by the media,especialy in europe were they dont wont people and governments to know there is another option,if all governments done this and simply gurennteed people saveings instead of the bailing out the banks then this situation would be totaly differant
