    These people aren't equipped to lead the nation towards democracy. it's islamic sharia law all the way, with political and military power concentrated in the hands of a handful of religious extremists who wouldn't think twice of attacking non muslims.

    He was calling for PEACEFUL demonstrations up until june 2012 when he noticed the Assad regime will not change its stance, so he chose to take up arms and call others to fight too.
