Me and pupp Dyno tunin my car, we took a lil timing out and raised the fuel pressure to get 37 more hp . (this dyno appears to be about 10% less than actual readings i should have been around 340 to the wheels with the lt4 engine but only put down 313 either way im happy with it the first pull only put down 285 and theres no way my car ran a 12.1 with 285 HP.)

I also have an automatic transmission which can take up to 20-25% of the engine horsepower which would put the engine close to 400 horsepower.


My friends gto was also about 10% off from expected numbers. we will be going on another dyno soon to find out some real numbers. i dont think it was calibrated properly or something.

    i got the stack of timeslips, consistently runs 12.7 i got one run at 12.1, hp doesnt mean anything my friends mach1 only has 302 rear wheel horse and runs 11.9 so ..... its the whole setup not just the hp number. I have one of the best tires made for the street too, and its a 315 so it hooks like crazy.

    So I was right! How come my European car has 220bhp from a 1.8L 4 pot engine? Yanks, due to next to free fuel, have never had the need to make good engines that are fuel efficient and powerfull, they just make them bigger to get more power. Now yanks are sh1tt1ng themselves because they are paying the price for fuel that europe has paid for years and their massive V8 engines woefull at fuel consumption. The europeans have the lead in engine technology by 100 miles over the usa. That V8 in the vid is unchanged in 35years!!!! Get real guys."
