Fuel for the Global Warming Debate in LiveLeak :)
We talk about Global Warming, in the meanwhile in China the residents of Qinhuangdao are wondering has the North Pole moved closer to them. At some places people can walk 200 meters to the sea on ice.
Quote from the Qinhuangdao City website:
"Situated at the foot of Yanshan Mountain, facing the Bohai Sea, Qinhuangdao is famous for its ICE-FREE harbour... "
If the debate doesn't interest you, just enjoy the serene images ... ;)

Temperatures are irrelevant to "Global Warming Climate Change"
Was is relevant and much more important (because we say so) is that Global Warming is occurring and we must TAX YOU now to save us from YOU -- A carbon emitter no doubt.

No problem. I understand well that people affected by the H1CK gene can't afford the time or be bothered to learn anything about the world...

I'm not sure if many people know this, but it is currently winter in the northern hemisphere... Me thinks that might have something to do with the cold weather.

I've noticed it's winter here in Finland, mainly because I'm wearing long johns, so it can't be summer. ;)
I posted this clip mostly as an item of curiosity; coastline of the Bohai Sea and Yellow Sea are this January experiencing the worst sea ice in 30 years. The extreme weather condtions are now threatning supplies of coal to power plants, one oil tanker evn got trapped in the ice. And again, Qinhuangdao is known as an ice-free port.

It's a cold winter, nothing more, nothing less. The changes in temperature that the global warming alarmists are scared of are only a fraction of a degree C a year average. So even if global warming is true cold winters and mild summers are still totally possible.
It's a slow and steady change they are worried about. The changes wouldn't even be apparent within a single decade.

I've heard it's the coldest in 20 or 30 years, but not on record.
