  • The pilsner in the vid looks almost as clear (and tasteless) as seltzer water, good thing we've been moving away from the German pils here in the US and back to the hearty ales of yore.

That reminds me, time for a little gracious living of my own...

    Thanks, Mr.Cleaner!

  • American beer... or you might try real beer.
Anyone who had the pleasure to drink european beer, especially German or Czechoslovakian beer (Pilsen or Plzen is, after all, a Czechoslovakian town), knows the difference.
American beer. Really. For anyone who likes beer, the stuff made in the U.S. is an insult.

I don't know why you feel it necessary to prop yourself up by simultaneously
insulting the shit out of someone else. That sort of behavior indicates that you have an inferiority complex and suffer insecurity.

As for beer, yes, I've been to the oldest beer pub in Europe (Prague, Czechoslovakia back then) which was built in the year 1352.

Excellent beer. I've sampled beer all throughout Europe. I have many favorites from UK to CZ to Holland.

That said, you are totally i More..

Hehe, I was surprised that I remembered the year it was built ('1352'). That has always stuck with me because it was such a long time ago compared to American history.

      Cheers

    • @USA1 "And since I live here that's all that matters." to you, that is.

I wouldn't rule out the possibility that there are breweries in the U.S. that make decent beer. But if you speak of "U.S. beer" in contrast to "German beek" or "Czech beer" (and there surely a few breweries there that make undrinkable beer) - I would still claim U.S. beer to be inferior.
