  • triple radio telescope, so that it can take 3-d pics in XRAY, ULTRAVIOLET, INFRARED, & etc... idea that should have been expounded on a long time ago...

    At 5 million km from eachother that should allow us to peek around the corners of far off planets and stars.

  • I can't wait for this thing to be built. It's going to blow the hubble away. But of course 99% of people won't even give a crap and will still be consumed by the most trivial things here on earth.

    I don't think the distance is to allow us to look around things. The distance increases resolution. Much like how the diameter of a telescope lens determines the reolution it can see. The massive distance between these telescopes will give us resolution way beyond anything we have now.
