It's a recoilless rifle and the backblast blew dust behind itself.
So, we can't see what really happened.
Whether the tank was abandoned (not likely) or not, we do not know about.
If this operation was a success, we most likely would have seen a destroyed tank.

He did not blow himself up. Those of you which are old enough or have an IQ of at least 50 know there os a back blast from the RPG. The only failure was the photographer who now has a broken camera, perhaps a broken face, and that is why we didn't see the rest of the vid.

@RETICLEVIEW hmm. so mr high iq, since you are an expert at back blasts, you should know that the camera man was well outside of the danger zone and had no risk to his camera and face. most likely its a missed shot or a shot that didnt do anything to the tank.
