Police have arrested a 14-year-old boy for hijacking a bus on the Tomei expressway in Okazaki, central Japan.
The bus driver contacted police saying that a passenger was wielding a knife. A little while later, the suspected hijacker told the police that he only wanted to run away.

After escorting the bus into a parking area, the police persuaded him to surrender and took him into custody.
