@Fukmup That system already exists. I just looked for it on google and couldn't find it, because i can't remember the name of the system that i saw on 'Future Weapons'.
It's like 9-12 different sensors (balls) that sit on top of a thick metal antennas, that make up a semi-sphere like shape on top of any vehicle or anywhere else that it's needed.
When the shot is fired, the system talks to the soldiers. Ex: " 3 o'clock, 600 yards, elevation 60 ft."

@1shot555 yeh I have seen that its called shot finder or something they use it in bad cities with high murderer rates I have seen them use it on the murderer investigation show the first 48. I think it just uses 360° mics to pinpoint direction from the sensor
